Crystal Lake Diner has been a Haddon Township Westmont tradition for over 25 years, proudly serving the community homemade comfort food and fresh baked goods in a friendly family atmosphere.
In 1990, Crystal Lake Diner was founded by Anthony Exadaktilos, an immigrant from the island of Andros, Greece. He mastered his craft by working in New Jersey diner landmarks, such as Ponzio’s Diner of Cherry Hill and Mastoris Diner of Bordentown and then eventually owning the Mt. Holly Diner from 1973 until 1988. Anthony has passed diner traditions and values to his daughter Marianne and his son Anthony Jr, who also owned and operated Victory Bar & Grill in West Berlin for 15 years.
For over 20 years, Crystal Lake Diner won numerous ‘Best of South Jersey’ Awards for “Best Diner” and “Best Breakfast” until a devastating fire destroyed the business in 2014. After almost 3 years of rebuilding to what we were before, we are back and more committed than ever. Without you, our valued customers, none of these achievements would have been possible. We are truly grateful and will continue to strive to provide the community the best food, service, and hometown hospitality for years to come!
